Title: The Art of Meditation.
Post by: bugeye on June 22, 2009, 08:03:26 am
I only started meditation a year ago and am not expert in the art of it.

My mind is really the most facinating thing in existance - and I learned quite recently there isn't actually anything else - The universe is mere thought.

Many say the universe is an illusion, but I'd advise not to buy into that - unless of course the soul is an illusion as a primary intelligence.

As I see it intelligence is the energy Einstein described with the expression E=mcc. And if nothing else Einstien was intelligent.

Well you can only hear sound that falls in a certain range of resonance. Low base you cannot hear and high pitched ultra you cannot hear.

It is exactly the same with matter. We are only aware of the perceivable frequency. We are at the same time all te other frequencies too but we cannot detect them because we resonate mostly on these frequencies we do. Does not mean there is nothing there or that it is an illusion. It is as much an illusion as all the rest.

In fact when you consider our limited scope you realize there is a lot more in the unseen unfathoomable than there is in the one we consider real.

Hello one and all.

Yes I do think Eugene has hit the nail on the head. A Bug's eye does percieve light of many 'invisible' frequencies. Some things strike the Bug more as vibrations upon his sencitive little feelers and are actually senced more than seen too.

I personally find by meditation I keep much quieter in my mind at all times, and calm in the face of things I can't control.

Sometimes I think young children have been told to think in concrete terms, and told 'imaginary friends' and so much wondering is false, yet they learn by such imagining - and lessons teach fear of God -

I feel is quite unjust to teach fear to the innocent and better adults teach only of love and truth and the soul's invincibility.

After about 8 months I felt a constant tingling on my forehead, the third eye as it is called.

It is quite a good thing, the tingling, it feels very pleasent. I feel this is an opening of deeper sences and as it opens I see more into dream realms.

As I see it, the opening of this chakra is the vision of deeper truth - as what is seen outside in the universe is deepened by what is seen on the inside of my BEING.

Then - when feelers grew out of me head I thought "BUGERK!"
