I think the difference is that we believe that all is God and thus there is no ONE God to be observed.

We dont have an entity called God. In practice you can also say we are Agnostic in our approach because we dont try to find or please God as if God is an entity with an ego. God simply is the "isness" of all that is and is not. That's Taoism. It's a beautiful study.

By birth I am a Hindu. But I love all the best aspects of all the religions.

I suppose when you are in stories and the movie business you have to have an observers mind. Thus it would be very detrimental to your work if you condemned any religion or belief.

I too belief religion is only created by "the powers that be" as a tool to move and manipulate masses with but I dont blame the people who fell into that trap for being religious. While I might feel sorry for them sometimes I try to just talk around their chosen religion to say what I want them to know.

Eugene, honestly what I said was not as a professional filmmaker's mind. It was truly my personal belief and thinking.  :)

Oh. Yes I know. This site is informal so I would not expect you to be anything but yourself. ;D

But what I meant was that it makes sense for you do what you do because if you were the condemnation type of person you would not be able to do that completely or to derive joy from doing that. Only a good observer can see and appreciate both sides of a situation and thus represent it more real to his viewers again.

People who condemn do not see in wholeness.

 ;D Living every minute with love, grace and gratitude is more important than anything. I think all religions will teach the same. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

After all, life is nothing but a quest for love...  8)

That is true.

I also love "common" people a lot. I dont know why but I see a kind of an innocence in them that draws me. Most common people have their religion purely as a "Got that one covered" in their simple lives, but they live absolutely, simplistically spiritual.

For me the aim in life is to live. Love is already the case. So living is the thing for me. Or rather "being" in the now.
