Title: Please help me think up a title.
Post by: Eugene66 on September 14, 2009, 07:14:00 am
I am wrecking my brains looking for a good title for my book.

The topics I discuss are basicly everything we I discuss here on these forums with a little more elaboration and better grammar and spelling LOL

The guides on the site that seels my book says a title does more than 50% of the selling so I am fryong neurons here trying to find a good one.

So far I was thinking.........

Spiritual guidebook for the human experience.

So the secret of life is?

The secret to life is no secret.

What the bleep is the secret to life? (Playing with popular concepts)

The secret to life is practically simple.

The many keys to the secret of life.

Why drag your cross when you can levitate?

Can anyone think of catchy titles?

From qurious beginners to people trying it out and looking for better ways to other people who just hope to understand themself and others better.

I have a few meditation tutorials in there and a few manifestation techniques. Some self exersizes to bring one to peace in te now ETC Its quite diverse. Its more like "Chicken soup for the soul. A lot of loose articles together in one book.

Understanding the "voices" ;) :D

Finding the door there in the wall you entered through.

Tightening your loose screws. us2

Some days it just does not make any sense to chew through the Straps. *Illustrated with the picture of a guy in a straight jacket.*  ;D

Fitting the pieces to the puzzle of life. (Ann)

The puzzle Hmmm. How about a Koan?

The Koan of life made easy.

Cosmos. Yeah we can play with that.
Stop thinking and see the secret.

The secret to life is within.

More questions to the secrets of life.

I think people like mystery. It draws them especially in a book where it's safe.

Resuming your Dharma after your Karma ran over your Dogma. ;D Double meaning, chomical and it is meaningful.

Even on the right road you will get run over when you just sit there.

I think our thoughts hold our feelings hostage.

For example I can feel anger and let it come and go. But when I think "payback" and revenge then my vindictiveness will not let go of the anger to let it through. Then my thoughts prevent it from escaping.

To get rid of unwanted feeling you have to let them free. Let them flow out. Allow yourself to think and even say them, thats the only way they leave.

Rulebook for the game of life.

A pocket guide for the road of life.

Oh Cool.
That is an excellent video.

One of the reasons why I like it so much is because they teach the same concept that Ramtha teaches for self healing.

Ramtha also teaches a method where you have to let blue energy flow into your body and visit certain points that you mapped out as "sick" and it heals spontaneously.

Simply Practical

Ever wondered why?

Ever wondered if?

Belief (in your self)

from small acorns...... thats the best one! in my opinion...

Once again I am gunning for the short stories type of title, like "Chicken soupo for the soul."

Have ever read it? Its exactly the type of book I wrote. A collection of short complete articles on their own.

So this morning I was thinking.................

Shooters for the soul.
Take aways for the soul.
Macdonalds for the soul.Junk food...... that won't do.

Soulsnax.................. But then I can hear a guy telling his friend to get theis book that explains something and the book is called "soulsnax."

Short stories of the human experience. for spirits.

Smoothing the bumpy road of life.

Ok the final call came to me as I was re-editing the book. As you read the book you begin to think like this.

Quotes from The science of getting rich.

There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made and which, in its original state permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.

A thought, in this subspace, produces the thing that is imagined by the thought.

A man can form things in this thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless subspace, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.

In order to do this, man must pass from the competitive to the creative mind; otherwise he cannot be in harmony with the formless intelligence which is always creative and never competitive in spirit.

I realized that all my writing throughout the book takes a man from his point in life to the mind of a creator.

So now a title that says somethig along this line?

Dear God.........Please wake up?

The last one seems to say what your last one says  but in another way.

Oh there are so many issues here.
Dealing with it from all sides. I have "good" and "bad" questions for everyone. a1m
But seeing as I only have you here........... ^-^

"ITs just as I said the other day I went out on a date and everything is going ok

but and here is the but He was trying his luck as you would say  and  I told him  I just dont jump into to bed with anybody  . But he thinks because of our age it should not matter we are both consenting adults "

Perfectly OK for you to say this. Even in a non -moralistic world.

But then the words "Trying his luck" comes from the old school. The one where women are supposed to play hard to get and men are supposed to play hunter.

Anyway he is right too. And in this open discussion you made it clear you are not consenting.  ;D this is what it is but now why would you not consent? I mean really why? Not because you have some idea of what a respectable lady should be like and "what would he think if I am too easy?" kind of thinking. No the REAL reason.

One way to reason this is to say 'if there were no morals judgemnts and or perceptions of our personality selves and I follow only my inner feelings and desires...would I?' If the answer is yes then find those little monsters that was planted in your youth and weed them out. Then there is some crappy moralistic teaching that needs to be done away with. It needs to be questioned. WHY? if its wrong to have sex in this way then why is it wrong? Ask yourself untill you come up with an answer, then ask another "why" untill you run out of questions.

"So he text and appologized and said its not all about sex so I said ok we would meet again but everytime we have a conversation he brings it up in the conversation.

Am I just being old fashion or what?"

Look its very simple really. You don't feel comfortable to have sex then you don't. Even if you are old fasioned the bottom line is "I dont feel like having sex with you!!" end of story. Sex needs to be enjoyed in abandonment, If you have any reservations you should not do it or at least then set an honest agreement.

The fact is that while I allow myself the freedom to have sex with anyone, there are not many people I would have sex with at all. Well some women are really sexy and if they can agree to have "Sex without further expectations" I would but in thruth they never stick to the "No further expectation " part. The suddenly think they found their soulmate and they want to coax me ito some binding agreement. So you might think I chose a celibate existence if you were my neighbour because freedom is my first priority.

Now for the man I would ask. Why is it important for you to have sex? Honestly I think hormones has something to do with it. But what about rebound people? If he hasn't found closure on his old relationship yet then there is no way he is going to only have sex with you as a good friend and keep it that way. He will become emotionally attached to you, put you on a pedastil, and later dump you in the hole he dug to make the pedastil.

The more you spend time and become friends the more you have. Some people choose sex because they run out of conversation. Some use sex to avoid intimacy.

There is no "wrong" and there is no real "moral" around sex. You can enjoy it whenever however, but let it be on terms that you are comfortable with. If it is only an itch to scratch then he can do it himself. He won't go blind. ;D

Oh I wish. :P

I will be frank so bear with me. I see the Catholic church as "the enemy" in our global struggle to wake the God in every person.

I dont blame the people I blame the teaching. In my book I spelled out how Guilt and shame keeps is from ever becomming spiritually and authentically empowered. "Guilt seeks punishment" and we Create our own punishment and call it Karma. Not because we are guilty of anything, purely because we believe we are.

The Roman Catholic Church and the Christian Church  has set up so many beliefs aimed at making people feel guilty about who they naturally are. Because when you feel guilty you are powerless.

I'm a man. When I see a sexy woman I like what I see. I might even get an erection. I am naturally built that way and "God don't make no junk." O0 Now if I was Catholic/Christian I was taught to feel guilty about my natural reaction to life. Then a lot of mishaps befall me because subconciously I feel guilty for my "private" desires. Thus all chritian men with hormones walk around with private guilt.

If I was natural I could celbrate my body and the fact that it still works so well. In a natural world I can tell the woman that she is a knock out and yet still respect her "consent" and she might appreciate and thank me for the compliment. I mean when I say I like your thighs it means I like your thighs. They turn me on. It is me being honest in honesty............ not rape.

Yet soceity is so indoctronated that when a man speaks his mind in honesty he gets scolded as some kind of perv. Its not just in the church. Its also in communities because man is a pack animal and he will go with the pack. Too bad the Pack is Christian Church indoctronated.

I often take a stab at reality and tell a woman exactly how I feel, I give her the opportunity to know what a man really thinks. Some appreciate it but some think I have intentions of raping them in their sleep.  2funny 2funny And the funny thing is most all men think like I do. But they keep it to themselves and act the same on the outside. The only diffs is that I tell her exactly what men think.

Then you get the hipocritical men who agree with the women who say that Eugene is a perv. Yet they were the very same ones who sat around a late night fire or in a pub with me and told me those very thoughts. Proves to me we were so trained to be what we are not that it is going to take generations for men and women to be honest with one another. Only then will we get to a point where we find bliss.

Up the the day we are honest we will be mucking about with pretenses. Pretenses alsways fail in the long run and that is why people are not happy in relating. Untill we become honest about our nature and who we are we will forever be fumbling around in the dark.
