medusa, yes certainly the first part of the dream, in which i was a joyful and participant creator, i remember thinking "I would gladly stay here forever"
perhaps this very sentiment is what brought about the spiral through spheres which I did not enjoy nearly so much.
It does make one question why this should happen at this time and i hazard;
1)a time of of change/crisis/opportunity in real life
2)too much noxious tobacco inhalation/ not enough sleep
3)subconscious desire for exploration of questions which my ego-mind is too busy procrastinating to consider.
MMM it can also depend on whose interpretation on dreams you care too follow as well there nareikeiraulyasdnil ?
As there are many so called specialists that do exist and many very well tell you different things about your dreams !
Will look some up for you hun

haha yes eugene, you did indeed, deja vu a whole different category no
my ex-step father (complicated I know), a respected neurologist with nevertheless quite left field ideas maintains that deja vu is the temporal lobe misfiring, and the brain remembering something it forgot only microseconds ago. I find that a rather unsatisfactory explanation to some of my own experience.

deveswar, this is what I found odd, that I could feel that hook in my mouth, and when I pinched myself. perhaps though I was doing so in my sleep.

Again Dreams and lucid dreaming are as real as while we awake.
what is the difference. Here too we see objects, taste it, see it, hear it smell it.
i think the touch sense is not there. so we can go through objects. there are no barriers in dream.
in awaken state, if there is a wall it will obstruct us. but in dreaming that barriers are taken out.
Psychologists will say- dreaming is unfulfilled desire. Subconscious mind is acting out what it absorbed, what a person crave to do.
in that sense, kieran, you are very much craving to find out the truth of existence.
you are aware of different conscious state, and you expect a divine hand to lift you up, raise you up.
keep the awareness in your so called consciousness. Guru is that divine help. a golden hook
these are my assumption. and take at as it is, or leave it as it is.
either way the flow is in progress
deveswar with love

Is this a duplicate or something? I posted on a post like this, this morning. Or is this Deja vu?
Hiya Eugene
No your not seeing things hun, he posted it in his own personnel thread then started another thread with it !
Thought if we opened a "Dreams" forum then everyone would have somewhere to put their experience's

I had a very interesting semi-lucid dream the other night, after a weekend of sleep deprivation (chef)- first a past life regression fantasy, then a series which involved 'waking up" six times in different layers of my consciousness, each time as I would begin to question the reality of my environment, I would be snagged by a golden fish hook and pulled to the next awakening. (like ground hog day but different)
It was enjoyable, and malleable to begin with but the more concerned I became about whether I was really awake this time or not, the darker in tone the dream became. I knew I should test the reality with pain , and nipped myself a lot, and I could feel it! On the seventh round I came to in my own bedroom, and as this construct has been stable for two days now, I assume this is "real".
I can't wait to wake up from life !
I'd be very interested to know what anyone thinks on the subject of lucid dreaming in general, particularly any technique to avoid this cyclical waking anxiety?and if there are any "Josephs" out there that might understand the symbolism of a golden fishhook. this is a recurring artifact in my dreamscape.
Thank you for sharing nareikeiraulyasdnil
WOW sound like something I've been through in the past hun........................
Ground-hog day mmmm good description of what you think is happening, when you are awake, or semi awake !
If everything was so cut and dry would we not ask questions as to why these things happen to us ?
Are dreams can also be so real, as though they are really happening right now !
So life like that they're real and you can feel so comfortable and happy and be lost in them that you don't wanna come back ............................ does it feel like this when we are crossing-over ?
Who know's and can we really find out...................that dreams can come true ?
