i know exactaly what you mean Cosmos.
i can find myself watching how i am acting physicaly. a few month ago i got extremely upset and was crying alot. it was strange because on the higher level i was just watching myself, i was thinking clearly. while on the physical level i was shatterd.

i have come down to beliveing that this sensation is living and thinking in a higher exsistance. ive found as i have meditated in the past years i have occationaly hit a new "level" and begin to think on another level.

i think that when we "see ourselfs" like this, its the higher level that we now think on looking at the more physical level.

Well sometimes I can laugh so hard that I lose myself in infinity. Just like an orgasm. There is a time when I am breathless, laughing my insides out and my mind hits a blank.

But most of the time there is this Joyous being sitting just behind my concious being, taking note and recording all that is happening. Giving me guidance when I feel bad, to turn it around and feel good.

I often find I observe myself when I am alone, and  lost in my own thoughts.

I also observe myself when I interact with others at times, what I say, how I act, and so forth, as though it is someone else watching, it's odd.

Hello

When I read observing yourself I automatically went to the OBE (Out of Body) experiece.  I do though get what ye are asking its a view of one from the inside out.  When ye lalugh ye are laughing with the whole being that is ye.

Looking at meself in this moment, I see peace and quiet.  I see me lost in time and space as the kids are not up yet.  Its an amazing view.

How do ye see yourself is a huge part of how ye feel about yourself.  That confidence we seek to have.

The Shield of Dawn
Through shadowed eyes in a dark helm
He will watch over the Soul of Light

So, what are you're experiences of observing yourself in moments ?

I find that especially when i laugh at say comedy or so, that i am observing myself laughing, from the inside out. It's kinda interesting. Not sure how, but maybe the experience of laughing separates me from the body in a way, to experience this observance.

any others?
