Spirit to Spirit, Soul to Soul
Soaring to the other side of the universe,
looking for what makes my heart beat.
Every ounce of life I consume,
I find myself traveling a whole new journey.
Ten years pass by without a tear shed,
Others would have me stand by their side.
Here today,
... floating by...
I demand to land my feet
in the presence of you.
Spirit to spirit, soul to Soul
united we kiss.
Miles to go before I weep,
for in this hour I sleep
Searching my soul in the image of yours,
I find time stands still as a tear falls.
Well-known author of this chapter, I am;
I discover new beginnings to explore.
Reasoning with the Master of Time so we may
cherish these moments and start living.
Hand in hand I ask Time for a gift,
a renewed life in exchange of my souls confinement.
Tears of hope and over-worn mascara stain my cheek,
as this moment defines my heart's secret.
