Am not too bad today, been out to a christaining as well.......although only went to the church part as wasn't up to the doo afterwards as well

Just stopping by to tell you that I think your cold has decided to take a business trip over here to Western Australia, as Noah and I came down with it a few days ago lol.

I think Iarla has a point too, about an outlet for depression. Mine are writing and dancing. I use them whenever I feel an excess of any particular emotion.

I heard a saying the other day and it went something like "write when you're sad, write when you're excited, write when you're angry...but most of all, write when you're happy."

Well I almost laughed, because I cannot produce anything worthwhile when I'm happy. I need despair and anger to write or dance well....it's like fuel for the writing hand (or dancing foot) lol.

Any who...*big hugs* to you (just don't get too close, you don't want this cold to decide to return home any time soon!)

Hi Medusa! I'm so glad you're here on the forums. I hope you're over your cold. When I was depressed I swore I'd make a map of my escape so noone would have to go through it. But I couldn't make a map in the fog of course and and I don't have much to offer you - but I promise I am thinking of you.

What struck me about depression, above every other experience in my life, is how solitary it is. I think that's why it's so difficult. We don't have the vocabulary to communicate it. I hope you have an outlet of somekind (and I don't mean hitting the bottle LOL!).
