Title: Mind constructs
Post by: The Universeable on June 16, 2009, 11:28:59 am

Mind constructs or (mind) patterns are what we have developed over time regarding how we speak, think and do. Mind constructs are form the disconnectedness with the Self, and should be eliminated in order to be free and be one with all.

So, identify your patterns, and give it over to the universe and be one as you were meant to be.

Hi Cosmos. I agree, the mind can be a difficult guest in ones consciousness at times.

I'd like to ask you about 'giving it up to the universe'. I don't really know what this means. I have no firm beliefs about what is 'out there' or 'in here' for that matter. Can I just close my eyes and ask whatever is outside of me to please help me remove the unnecessary and incessant thoughts?

Thank you,
Iarla

A great exercise from ACIM.

Anything I see does not matter.
My thoughts on anything I see does not matter.

When you really get that this place is an illusion of conciousness and you realize nothing matters you stop feeling bad about a lot of things.

So dont be for or against anything. Dont try to shut something out. Know what it is and watch it in its passing. But ALLOW it to be what it is.

If I judge I judge. I know its not desired to be opinionated but if I have an opinion I will muse over it and let it go. I am not goint to try NOT TO think it. Because what you resist you give energy to and that is why it persists.

So this is letting go of the idea that anything should be any other way than what it already is. But remember your desire to change it if you can is just as valid and perfect. So do what you want to do but be relaxed about it.

Thank you for clarifying folks :) I've just had a glimpse of this illusion after listening to more Eckhart Tolle. I'm really excited.

Breaking down the mind constructs/barriers created by the mind is quite easy. It takes will, intent, and just direct eternal love towards those barriers, and you will see how it gets eliminated.

As James of Wingmakers says, we can fine tune our mind, to be in line with our higher self.

Yes I also think playing devils advocate works.

Everytime when someone annoys you and you get a gap then think it through again but put yourself in the other persons shoes. Often we cannot see another point of view because we are too intent on letting another see our own point of view.

Once you see the other point of view you already inegrated a bit with that person through entering his/her reality and thus it becomes easyer to forgive and let go.

Is it not strange that we have to let go to become one? Think about it. In my spiritual journey I have to cut ties with everyone in order to grow myself up to become one with everyone again.

It only proves that the stuff we hold onto. The stuff we cannot forgive is actually kindergarden stuff to the soul and needs to be outgrown. Nothing really matters.
